We stayed on the 5th floor, facing the courtyard away from the busy streets of Paris. It was quiet when windows are closed. Rooms are quiet small and you really have to squeeze around if you are sharing the room. Its really just and bed. Bath tub with hand held shower. Breakfast was standard cold meats, cheese, eggs and breads,...

Will definitelly come back, it is 15 min walking distance away from the Louvre and Palais Royale. Close to the Cadet metro which can take you to all the main sights. We walked around there late at night and altough there were not many open stores, it felt safe.

I stayed with Cadet this past fall on an academic field trip through the program I work for. We were w group of University study abroad students - and usually hotels cringe when they even think of having us stay with them. From the minute we piled through the door, the staff were overly-welcoming and the happiest staff I have...

Dear LiHarv, Thank you for your review about your stay at the Opera Cadet. We are used to welcome groups of students (mostly 15 years old and older) and we know how to deal with the requests such a group may have or any emergency that can happen. It is important to mention that your students were all very well...

I was looking to stay somewhere near to all the sights, metro and reasonable and this hotel ticks all these boxes. The staff were really friendly, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was simple but tasty. I'd definitely stay there again.

We decided to visit Paris for three days in half term to see the sights. We booked the Opera Cadet Hotel as it was reasonably close to the city center (Approx 45 mins walk, but only 10mins walk to the 'hop on, hop off' bus stops. It also had an underground car park (ensure you book it up front). This...

We visited Paris in November 2016 and stayed at the Hotel Opera Cadet for the third time. We have booked at this hotel each visit since staying there about 8 years ago. We even booked the same room each time, at our request they looked up our previous room and booked it for us. Parisians tend to turn on heaters...

The Staff are friendly, metro - Cadet station is only 3 mins walk away, restaurants, drug store, wine shops and supermarkets are 3 - 5 mins walk. They have a private car park, small but can do the trick. The room is clean, bed is comfy, efficient heat, 24 hours reception. Nothing can complaint.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
