Paris first time and stayed here 2 nights. Centrally located, 15 mins easy walking from Gare de Nord train station. Hotel small but well decorated hotel. Limited staff but very helpful. Very well welcomed by the front desk, there was no bell service so DYI all you luggages for check in and out. Room was tiny even for me alone....

I travelled to this hotel with my wife and stayed for first 4 nights in Paris. Easy to locate the hotel in google maps, reached from airport CDG in an hour. Its centrally located with lot of cafes surrounding it. There is wax museum-Grevin nearby. Checkin was smooth and we were allotted a room within 10 min. The room is...

The Hotel is easy to get to and handy for Grands Boulevard Metro station. Check in was relatively straight forward. The room was small but we expected this. Not sure about the 70's throwback shaggy carpet- I suppose this may have been an attempt to dampen some noise. The rooms were so noisy to the point it sort of ruined...

This hotel room is nice for the rooms. And a very good place in the city. The breakfast is the most horrible ever. Africans with no organization. They can't handle with two people the job for 4 people. The one information from me. NEVER BOOK THE BREAKFAST HERE!!!!

Ugly interior. Noisy rooms. Little rooms. Don't go there with a baby. Good bathroom. Good breakfast. The price is to high for what one gets. I think it's better to stay at an Ibis hotel of the same hotel group and save about 25% of your money.

Stayed for two nights at this Mercure hotel for work; good value for money for central Paris. Smallish room but then most are in this part of Paris. Have stayed at other hotels in the area for business that I would probably return to, as they were full this trip. Mercure are consistent though, and the staff service was very...

We requested a quiet room for our 5 night stay and were given one facing the courtyard at back. No street noise at all, although the street is quiet anyway, so I don't think that would have been an issue. Fantastic hot and cold buffet breakfast, in a calm room. A perfect way to start the day. Easy walking distance...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
