Recently returned from 3 nights staying at the Mercure Paris Opera Faubourg Montmartre, and have to say we were pleasantly surprised and pleased with the hotel having read many of the reviews prior to our stay. We arrived into Paris Orly around 9.30am and made our way via public transport to the hotel, arriving at the hotel around 11am with...

We requested a quiet room for our 5 night stay and were given one facing the courtyard at back. No street noise at all, although the street is quiet anyway, so I don't think that would have been an issue. Fantastic hot and cold buffet breakfast, in a calm room. A perfect way to start the day. Easy walking distance...

First, you can heard all the noisy from outside in your room Second, the room was so small that I couldn't even open my bag Last, overall facilities were the worst Even free water supplies did not add up everyday

Dear guest, I would like to thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. I am so sorry that we did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Unfortunately the rooms size in the center of Paris are small compare to most cities. Buildings in the 19th century have been constructed...

This is a lovely little hotel perfectly situated within walking distance of all main attractions in Paris. The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice and available for 4 hours. We will certainly stay here again should we return to this...

I spent 8 evenings here from December 21-29 on the 8th floor. My welcome to the hotel was very professional. The lobby area is quite small, and looked much smaller than on the photos online. I get it. Paris is known for having small hotel rooms. I'm quite familiar with the city. My only recommendation to those that are Accor...

The only downside is that when we used the laundry service they did not put the cleaned clothes in the room, we had to ask for it in the reception. When we asked why, they said that every guest has to pick up the clothes from the reception, which does not have any sense at all, being a 4 star...

Location is good, right in the theatre district with most of the touristic attractions near by. I was on 5th floor room 511. I like the decor & cosiness of the room. But I disliked the size of the room. Tiny tiny room. I complained and was told by reception that it was the norm in Paris (which is not...

Dear guest, Thank you having taken the time to leave your impressions concerning your stay with us. I think the person at the front desk wanted to tell you that our room are, like most of the rooms, in the centre of Paris of a smaller size. The standard rooms have basic amenities, our privilege rooms offer you more. Thank...

Tiny rooms but what would you do with a bigger room anyway. Location is ok about 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro, and corner to an exciting street with food everywhere (try to Chinese restaurant next door). Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
