Stayed at the Ambassade at end of May 2014 .Wonderful location 10 minutes from Arc de Triumphe and Trocadero is 10 minutes the opposite direction as well as the River Seine with the Batobus boat departure point. The hotel is located on a quiet street and is clean and stylish. Room was small but with good décor and modern bathroom....

I have just returned 2 days ago from a weekend stay at the Hotel Amassade. All i can say is what a lovely hotel! Its Location is amazing 3 minutes walk to the Arc De Trimophe and the street that its situated on is delightful, lots of little shops and cafes around. We stayed in room 44 on the 4th...

I stayed here in November 2013 and found the facilities good but the service very poor indeed. The room was a good size for Paris and the furnishings were nice. The price is also reasonable for this area. However, the room was very noisy in the morning as the bins were emptied just outside and this woke me up on...

The staff were exceptionally polite and kind, especially the man who seemed to be there during the day on monday-wednesday, the rooms were extremely comfy, very well cleaned (except the bathroom which had hairs on the walls from previous visitors (only 2 or 3)), they all spoke a relevant amount of English, again especially the man who worked there in...

Conveniently located, within walking distance of Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph. Hotel service left a lot to be desired, for example whilst beds were made, clean towels were not provided everyday and the bathroom was not cleaned. The response from the staff on complaint was far from satisfactory. Breakfast was adequate although the choice was lacking and not worth...

I have stayed in this hotel with one agenda in mind; to be close to both Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. It's located in less than a block from the main street of Ave. Klever, at which you can turn to right for Eiffel Tower and to left for Arc de Triomphe. I went for jogging in the morning...

We only had two nights in Paris and although the rooms were small they were clean and comfortable. The hotel was located conveniently located so we were able to walk to many of the tourist attractions as well as the subway and great restaurants. Our room was very quite, we never heard any noise. If you are looking for a...

We stayed in this hotel for our anniversary treat of a few days in Paris. The hotel is in an ideal location being situated a 10-minute walk from the Arc De Triomphe/Champs Elysee and 15-minutes from the Eiffel Tower. There are also plenty of good restaurants just a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are small but adequate for the purpose...

The hotel is well located close to the Place de l'Etoile and Trocadero. The rooms are really small and completely outdated. It's very noisy, you hear the conversations in the room next door. The rooms would need to be fully refurbished. The staff is not pleasant. The breakfast is really not worth the price (15 euros), better breakfast much cheaper...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
