My husband and I had a great weekend in Paris, and loved this wonderful hotel! Location can't be better - 1 minute from Maubert metro station and San Germain blvd., 5 minutes from Notre Dam cathedral, the Pantheon or Saint Michel fountain. 6-7 minutes to the beating heart of the 6th quarter busy nightlife area with all the bars and...

We really enjoyed this hotel and the surrounding neighborhood. The hotel is clean, and the staff we're welcoming. The hotel is the Seine, many restaurants, book stores, The Cluny Museum, and more. We walked to the Louvre. This is well priced hotel served as a great home base while in Paris. I recommend this hotel highly.

The room was exactly what we were expecting, very good location, very helpful staffs, I would go back definitely. Few minutes walking there is couple of brasseries, subway ,public transport,a lot of restaurants. 5 min walking the Notre Dame. Good choice if you don't mind to walk around the city.

Very pleasant reception staff. Received complimentary breakfast as the lift was out of order during our stay. Breakfast really would NOT be worth the 17€. Extremely limited choice even for a continental breakfast. See photo, this was taken half an hour before breakfast ended. There was choice of 3 fruit juices, a tiny bit of fruit salad, small amount of...

We were a couple staying for 3 nights in Feb. Reception is 24hrs and is manned by very friendly and polite staff. Rooms are a decent size compared with the average Paris hotel room. The rooms were modern, nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable, with coffee making facilities and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The hotel is located 5mins...

The room was small but perfect for our needs. We had a bath and shower along with the usual toilet and sink. Tea making facilities and sufficient plug sockets to allow us to charge our devices. (Note - 1 socket is linked to the lamp switch and switches off if the light is off. Check this does not catch you...

We booked this hotel as it was a good value 4-star in the Latin Quarter where we were staying on a city break. The hotel is situated in a good position just off the Boulevard St Germain, close to Notre Dame and near to St Michel RER/Metro stop and so on a direct route to Charles de Gaulle Airport -...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
