Booking a hotel in Paris is always risky - it's an expensive city and the price of a room is no guarantee of quality. We struck gold with the Left Bank hotel though. Not only is it very easily found, very close to the Odeon metro station, it is also very nice. The twin room we had was small but...

Me and my husband have stood at this hotel in september 2011 and we loved it. We know some 2 or 3 stars hotels in Paris and Left bank was a good surprise. Small but functional bedroom. Very quiet, even on the first floor, thanks to the good sound isolation. Very confortable bed. Free wi fi.Tiny but nice bathroom, very...

We stayed here at the end of our holiday in Paris for 3 nights. The location is superb for the area and convenient for the metro - goes direct to Eurostar terminal. If you expecting room and bed sizes of North America or maybe even UK you may be a little disappointed however if you are hoping for a room...

The hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to many attractions. Our room was quiet and clean. If you are looking for a solid 3 star hotel, this is a good choice.

A small but lovely hotel- the rooms are confortable and well decorated with "Toile de Jouy " on the walls-prices are not expensive and the situation right in St Germain wonderful- lots of nice Bistro - restaurants very near- It is very lifely and you can walk around without any problems ;;; Not far from "Les Quais de la Seine"-...

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days in the beginning of January, and can definitely recommend it for both furst-time and experienced visitors of Paris. It is in the middle of a nice safe neighbourghood within minutes walking distance to many sights, with a variety of restaurants around the place, several movie thetres with films in English, and with...

I stayed here for 2 nights recently and I must say I was very surprised about the great location. The surroundings were pleasant, and it is within 5 minutes to Notre Dame, and 10 minutes to the Louvre. The service was excellent, and the breakfasts were surprisingly enjoyable. I loved the coffee, and the chocolate-filled pastry was delightful. My room...

Loved this place. Situated in St Germain in the heart of Paris, within comfortable walking distance of the RER B train which goes to the airport. We arrived approximately two hours before check in him expecting to just drop our bags off, we were greeted warmly and advised our room was ready already. The room was nice and warm, very...

Stayed 10 days here in July 2011. The minor things I hear people complain about, well, those are the things we found charming, different, memorable or worthy of a laugh or a smile! The small elevator meant only 2 out of 3 of us could use it at one time. This is not a big deal people. The room was...

This hotel is in a very old building and when you walk in it looks very french. This does not have the sterile impersonal feeling that you're expecting from a hotel with the name "Best Western". Everyone who works the counter speaks English and they are extremely nice and helpful. We were upgraded upon arrival to a suite, which in...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
