First of all, let me state that this hotel has an awesome location, the lobby is impressive and a few staff members –were always going out of their way to make us feel at home. Feeling “at home“ rather than staying at a hotel is something I consider luxurious and always appreciate, especially in bigger hotels. Last year my girlfriend...

I had occasion to stay here for two nights (work-related). Initially I had high hopes as I am very familiar with Intercontinental hotels and its standards. Yes, the hotel is beautiful, and the location is great. But it is the small details that let it down. Among them: First off, room service stops at 11 pm. Really? This is not...

We booked this hotel for our first wedding anniversary for 2 nights using our Ambassador weekend night certificate, where you pay the first night and the second night is free which meant we could afford staying in this beautiful hotel! Thanks to the Ambassador benefits we had a room upgrade to a superior room which was huge and tastefully decorated....

This hotel is piece of history that was brought back to life in an amazing way. The public and guest rooms are wonderfully restored with all the modern convinces. Built by Napoleon to house visiting dignitaries and heads of state allow you to truly feel what Paris must have been like. The restaurants are pricey but were well worth it...

This hotel is actually like a museum, opened in 1862. We stayed there for four nights and it was a great experience. The hotel is located just opposite Opera House and very close to Opera Metro station, Louvre Museum, theaters and shopping district including "Galeries Lafayette". Generous breakfast was served at the infamous "Cafe de la Paix" which actually sits...

Dear AmirMohsen32, Thank you for sharing your recent experience here on Tripadvisor. I am confused by your comments regarding the toilet. Great hotel! Had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at a hotel. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast buffet was very good - expensive but seemed to cater largely to Asian palate. I was surprised this was the case in French hotel. Thank goodness I didn't see any mice in the hotel or this review...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
