Like most Renaissance Hotels, the Paris Trocadero is wonderful. Great staff and rooms. Not your ordinary hotel for Paris. The inner courtyard and restaurant add to its appeal. The location was very convenient to walk to many interesting museums near the Trocadero and the two metro stops. AJW Boston

Stayed 3 nights at the Marriot Champ Elysses and 3 nights here. The CE is full of tourists and people begging for money, the restaurants around CE are expensive and bad. You can't enjoy your food because everyone smokes around you (Paris) This hotel is far from tourists , but in a location that if you walk 2 blocks you...

Had a wonderful stay for five days in June at this outstanding hotel. Kudos to Concierge Olivier for all his assistance including phoning the Eiffel Tower to inquire about easy access since I have a bad ankle and assisting with the Museum Passes that facilitate shorter wait times at the museums. The breakfasts were delicious. The restaurant is exceptional in...

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was very nice. Room is typical Europe, smaller but nice, beds very comfy, staff accommodating except in the restaurant. The bathrooms were not well appointed and the service was inconsistent. Never got soap, got lots of bath gel but no shampoo, you get it. Check in was great, concierge one of the...

I am a platinum and was upgraded to a junior suite upon checkin. We had breakfast each day in the restaurant which was comped for a benefit. The breakfast was...

The Renaissance Le Parc Tracadero is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood in the 16th arrondissement. Conveniently located to many major tourist sites and many quality restaurants. While we used Marriott points for the hotel stay, we paid a little extra for an upgrade and upon check-in we were informed that our room was upgraded even further. Our room was...

This small hotel is right between the Torcodero and Victor Hugo metro stops in Paris, just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and L'arc de Triumph. Quiet neighborhood with lots of bistros, brasseries and patisseries to tempt you. While the food at the hotel is excellent, I would suggest Victor's - in the neighborhood just two or so blocks...

What a great place in a great location. The staff was exceptional and the atmosphere was perfect for our trip to Paris. We had dinner after spending the day at the French Open last week. The maitre d' asked about our experience and when we arrived back at our rooms the next day, the hotel had provided us with a...

The Renaissance Le Park Trocadero is a great hotel. It's high end, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very expensive ($40) but there's a bagel shop with coffee 1/2 block away. Our room was so tiny that we had no where to put our suitcases and clothing. But all the appointments were high end. Comfortable bed,...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
