I've stayed at this hotel a few times over the years. It's always charming. Great situation and helpful and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast too. Currently undergoing refurbishment (didn't affect any residents) but not sure why the supper is not as popular as it was some years back. I hope to be back there soon.

I always stay at this lovely boutique hotel in Marais as its perfectly located to explore the city by foot as well as stay close to the night life. I work in Fashion, so have often stayed here during fashion weeks in Paris. This is an old, traditional Parisian hotels so don't expect new decor, fancy coffee machines in rooms...

Hotel is old style with character. The service is good, the rooms quiet facing a courtyard and the breakfast is excellent. The bed could be a little larger and more comfortable but was OK. Great for parking if you come by car.

My partner and I come to Paris quite often and this is the first time we have stayed in this fantastic area with its unique shops and amazing restaurants. First, I want to compliment the staff as I found them incredibly warm and helpful and I was very grateful when they suggested getting the 65 bus to the Gare du...

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! I have never had an issue with a hotel before, let alone made a complaint or left a negative review. But after my atrocious hotel experience at Villa Beaumarchais, I feel it's absolutely necessary to inform other potential guests. I came back to my room after housekeeping had visited to find my perfume broken...

It's near the metro 8 (chemin vert) so that's a metro ride to line 1 (central line) in Paris which takes you to many of the sights of the city of lights. The decor is not my liking but that is a question of taste. It is clean, bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean. Rooms are average (european rooms are...

Spent 2 nights in this quiet off the street hotel. They upgraded us to a larger room which was a nice surprise and greatly appreciated. The room was just a little "tired" but lovely all the same and a great value considering the great location within walking distance to Notra Dame and the Place des Vosges. There is a wonderful...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
