This is a historic hotel with one of the best views in Paris, hence the four stars. As for the accommodations, they're typical two-star. The room was small and the furniture pretty beat up. The bed was low to the ground and saggy at the...More
Last December was our 3rd year running at the Quai Voltaire & we still love it.
For this trip we had a room on the 2nd floor having stayed on the 4th previously & with the well glazed windows we hardly noticed the noise even...More
This hotel was good value with an unbelievable view from our room window out to the Louvre across the Seine. Yes, it was quite small - like almost all european hotel rooms. But, it was decently clean, staff was friendly, and price was reasonable for...More
Perfect location with a great view of the Louvre. Not too far (about 15 minutes walk) from St Michel Notre Dame RER station (direct to Gare du Nord main train station and CDG airport). Closer to Rue Du Bac metro, about 10 minutes. Plenty of...More
Every room has a magnificent view of the Seine, service is very accommodating and pleasant and location is fabulous. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Quai Voltaire. The rooms are a little small but the rate and location and views alone make it...More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

We stayed on the 5th floor. Had windows that open and a great view of the Seine and Louvre. No refrigerator but staff provided plenty of ice. We had twin beds. Basic but clean and charming. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, informative and helpful. Close to and within easy walking distance to restaurants, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and public transportation. Nice area to stroll along the Seine. Highly recommend it.
