The front desk staff was exceptional from the second we entered the hotel until we left via taxi for the train station. Le Littre is in a great location. The metro lines are close by and made it very easy to explore all the regions of Paris. The location also a short pleasant walk to St. Sulpice and Jardin du...

I travel regularly to Paris and am regularly disappointed with the hotels I stay in. I can't say anything bad about Hotel Le Littre, however. Both the room and bathroom were clean, the staff at the front desk were helpful, my room was quiet and the right temperature. The room was not massive, but this is Paris and that's what...

This was our first visit to Paris, so we especially appreciated the extremely friendly & helpful folks at the front desk. We also loved the location on a quiet little street but just a very short walk from lots of action, choices of restaurants, shops, etc. The location was ideal for using both the Metro and the L-Open Hop On-Hop...

This was my 2nd visit to this hotel in the past 3 years. After 21 days of stay I am still more than satisfied with the accomodations, the breakfast buffet and most of all the staff who go out of their way to make your visit a pleasant one. A special thanks to Michael and Mohammed, both long time employees.

I can't believe what I'm reading. People who have written reviews about this hotel must stay at Motel 6 in truck stops. My walk in closet is bigger than the room. Two twin beds put together to make a queen - are you kidding me? The carpet is dirty and the room smelled of urine. Worst food and a funeral...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
