Nice clean hotel. Great location however for the price it should at least include breakfast. Staff was generally knowledgable about the area which was a help. Checking in was a little disappointing as all our rooms were not available at check in time. Overall I would recommend this hotel

I would stay here again, no question. The location was great. Very very close to 2 Metro locations. Very clean and up to date. Room was quiet, even facing Blvd Saint Germain. All the staff is very professional, and helpful. Close to many cafes and restaurants. They gave some good recommendations on places to eat.

A gem of a small hotel across from the St. Germain de Pres church. Close to restaurants and shops. Metro stop next door. Desk staff was especially helpful and courteous. Room was pretty ... unique lighting above bed. Bathtub/shower not for the elderly or infirm. Highly recommend!

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Madison Hotel, in the Latin Quarter of Saint Germain-des-Prés, is a boutique hotel in a chic, contemporary style. This delightful hotel with its 50 rooms and suites is located on the Left Bank opposite the church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and a mere stone's throw from the Seine, the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay, and the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris. The hotel rubs shoulders on the Boulevard Saint Germain with the Café de Flore and the Café de 2 Magots, at the heart of a quarter famed for its cafés, art galleries, museums, antique dealers and designer fashion boutiques. The Madison Hotel is also firmly at the heart of literary Paris...
