We paid 130EUR for triple room and 105 EUR for twin room(without city tax) and this was the best price vs quality among all hotels in Paris center - new Paris Opera . If the price is higher then suggestion would be to search another hotel. The bathroom and room were very nice and comfortable - I really suggest to...

The hotel is very nice and the staff is extremely helpful. However dorm take the super shuttle there. It's expensive and a waste of time. You are much faster and cheaper with the airport shuttle. Rooms are very bright and clean. Beds are comfortable. You get a complimentary bottle of water upon arrival.

I stayed with a friend on November. THe hotel is very comfortable, clean, and well decorated. The room wasn't huge, but big enough. The bathroom was really clean and the temperature of the water was really good. The receptionist (a girl) was really kind and even tho we arrived early, she let us take the room as the room was...

This was our first trip to Paris in April this year. We found the hotel clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. Small rooms, but OK for a couple, and even smaller lift, which gave us a few laughs. A great location at an affordable price. Very central to the metro. Walking distance to Gare de...

As was our anniversary I actually requested i nice room and something nice. What did i get? A very very small room with basement view. Positive: Good location. Very clean. Economic. Negative: Room veeery small. Bathroom you can barely just wash you hand while you are sitting in the wc! Staff weren't very attentive or very friendly but helpful!

We stayed 5 nights in a Junior suite and we had a lovely stay. The hotel is well-located: it is at a short distance for the Gare du Nord, close to a metro station and the Line 7 is very practical and serves many tourist places. All hotel staff were pleasant helpful (at reception desk, the maids and buffet staff)....

Located in the heart of Paris...we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel...the Hotel was close to the Metropolitan and this made ideal for checking out the sights of Paris...rooms are small but quaint, however, this is the case for most hotels in Europe...would definitely stay there again...staff were kind and helpful...

We stayed at Newhotel Lafayette for 6 nights during late May. From the moment we walked in, we were looked after for the whole time. All of the staff were very friendly. Our room was spacious by Paris standards, clean and quiet. Breakfast was very nice. It was a 300m walk to Cadet Metro station and walking distance to all...

Second time I get "bumbed" from this hotel due to what they call "credit card problems". We have our Paris offices just around the corner from the New Hotel Lafayette and my colleagues and I are down from Sweden every week or so, and often we need to stay for a night or two. Last week (w22) we had stayed...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
