From start to finish our stay here was lovely. The staff were patient as we tried to converse with them in French (they all know English!), the location was absolutely perfect, the room was large by European city standards, the view over the street was...More
We spent one week at Mayfair. It is in a great location! Everything is within short distance, and you are in the centre of the city. Breakfast was marvellous, but expensive! I don't think I have tried better croissants in all of the brasseries that...More
Pros- It was in a good area. Staff were nice and spoke English.
Cons-I had a single room that was very small, with a twin bed. The television was small. I had a hard time getting out of the bathtub. They didn't have a bath...More
Just spent 4 nites here based on trip advisor reports and was all we expected. Comfortable redecorated modern room , facing inner courtyard. Our friends had a streetside location and did find it much noisier- thanks to Westin garbage trucks at nite.

From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal, this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is lined with the world’s best jewelers and their glittering window displays. Every other establishment has someone to open the door for you or park your car. You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops
or lingering over a meal at any of its chic eateries. After all that indulgence, the Tuileries gardens provide stately respite, while theatres compete for your applause. It's a neighbourhood that draws admirers from around the world, all attracted to the luxe life in Paris.

There is a little restaurant literally right next door - you walk out the door and it is on the right hand side. They have a good breakfast and a small bar. It is great for coffee and breakfast, and the pricing for that was fine, but I would not recommend getting orange juice there, as the price of juice seemed to be ridiculously expensive.
