This hotel was a perfect fit for us. We went to Paris to celebrate our 25th wedding aniversary and had a great time. We wanted to stay in a more residential area to better enjoy the local culture and people. The hotel is located accross from a terrific bakery and market. The farmers' market was accross the street on Tuesday...

My sister & I stayed at this hotel the last week of September, 2007. It's a wonderful and quaint hotel at an exceptional value. Simone and Bernard were very helpful to us. This was my first trip to Paris and we had done quite a bit of research to find the right hotel. I was very pleased with our choice!...

The Eiffel Kennedy is a nice hotel. We stayed there for five nights. It's fairly convenient to the major sights, linked by the RER primarily. That made it pretty easy to get to from the CDG airport. At night, we found few of the RER C trains run back to that area, so we did lots of walking. It's about...

We took the RER and metro from the airport and found it surprisingly easy. You need RER line B to gare du nord and its well signposted. On arrival at Ranelagh, the nearest metro to the hotel we asked at the information desk and the attendant explained the way to the hotel. It's only a 5 minute walk. We stayed...

We stayed at the Eiffel-Kennedy hotel from Friday till Sunday (August 24-26). Here are the main conclusions: 1-Small but very clean rooms 2-Very kind and helpful staff 3-Location is good for those who want a quiet area, not in the centre of things… 4-Reasonable price And to clarify here is our detailed experience. We arrived by car from outside Paris...

Out stay at the Eiffel Kennedy was very enjoyable and we would not hesitate to book a room again on our next visit to Paris. We found the hotel location to be in a nice area of the city, not too busy and yet not far from the city's major attractions. The location was very convenient to bus, train, and...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
