My sister and I stayed here on our first visit to Paris, after a Viking River cruise on the Rhine. We love vintage = and this beautiful hotel was perfect for us! If you're looking for all the up-to-date conveniences, a huge in-room TV, with "everything perfect", perhaps this is not for you. But for us, it was wonderful! The...

Rooms are a bit old fashioned and the whole hotel has this austere imagine that brings you back to the beginning of the 20th century. Overall OK and position makes it a good choice for either business or leisure. Breakfast is good, nothing is excellent but everything is decent and in line with price for central Paris

Stayed at the Millenium some year back and returned last week on a two day visit to Paris after touring around Spain by train. The Millenium is in an ideal position for us. Walkable (just) from the Gare du Nord a quarter of an hours walk from the Louvre, Place de la Concorde and the Seine, 5 minutes from the...

I stayed 2 years ago and had a good experience (and the most delightful breakfast croissants) which was reason for me to choose Millenium again. Because it's August so room rate was good. I stayed two nights over separate weekends at the beginning and end of my Paris trip. I arrived 7am from a 12hr flight and was very appreciative...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was great. Nice rooms, big bathrooms and clean. Interiors kind of old though but location is great. 10mins walk to shopping area and 2mins to underground. Breakfast spread is sufficient.

I stayed one night here on my way out of Paris, I booked it on a cheap rate for one night on my way out of Paris. Great hotel, but the decor does need to be updated. That said, I had a great sized room, comfy bed and great location, just a short stroll from Galleris Lafayette. Recommend if you...

We booked 1 night at the last minute. We got a good rate and the hotel is located in a fairly busy, touristy area. The entrance/lobby is fairly grand and befitting to that of a 4 star hotel. The rooms are not. We were placed in a cramped, attic style room. The carpet and fixtures are in need of replacement....

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
