Delightful, small hotel in great neighborhood of Paris. Quiet, quaint, terrific baguettes next door. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. They helped us find a local woman to wash our laundry for us same-day. We have already returned once and will be back again for 2 weeks in March.

A very quaint hotel includes breakfast and is close for walking to all museums! We only paid about $60 pp. in the winter months. Small cozy room but is all we needed. Friendly staff - didn't not speak english ...but we brushed up on our French for the basics to get around and not to seem pretentious -LOL. Very close...

The staff was friendly from the moment we arrived. Our room was ready much earlier than we expected and was clean yet small. Honestly, the location makes up for it as you won't be in your room much anyway. Great area with shopping and cafes all around. The breakfast isn't worth the money so venture out to a cafe or...

I am very perfectionist regarding my hotel picking when going on vacation. after doing a LOT of research, I can recommend with a full hear on the Sevres Saint Germain Hotel from several reasons: 1. Location 1 - Perfectly located close to the main attractions (Louvre, Musee d'Orssay, Saint German de pres, Concorde, Sains Elisa and more. 2. Location 2...

This hotel has a great location. It is an easy walk (5 minutes) to several different metro stops. Many of the major tourist attractions (The Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee D'Orsay) are about a 20 minute walk. There are lots of cafes and bakeries within a block or two for a cheap breakfast before you head out for the day. As...

A charming hotel in a very nice location. The neighbourhood is very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are 30 different rooms each one with its charm. There is also the possibility of private transfer to the airport or to the railway stations.

In is in a great part of town. Easy walking distance to everything. The rooms are have a modern feel although the hotel has an older feel. Staff was so nice and helpful. The one hesitation I have is the room temperature control. The system they have can either be on heat or A/C but not both. When we stayed...

This hotel was my favorite during my three week visit to Europe! The rooms are not very large, but was perfectly fine for my boyfriend and I. The rooms were clean and have windows that open up to the street and provide a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious every morning, with fresh squeezed juice, and the staff was extremely...

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is clean and well maintained but the rooms are small. If you are planning on lounging in you room, this would not be my first choice. But if you are looking for a launching pad in the heart of the Left Bank, blast off!

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
