We stayed at the Sevres Saint Germain for a week in mid-October for our 30th wedding anniversary. Our room was located on the top floor of the hotel and was very comfortable. The staff was excellent -- friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts were good with variety of items including a selection of hot items, an assortment of chilled cheeses and...

Lovely little hotel, friendly, helpful staff and in a great position to walk to most of the popular attractions. The rooms are typically small but comfortable. A great recomendaion for dinner a block away was amazing.

Hotel location is convenient to many Paris attractions. This hotel is exceptionally well managed by a very accommodating, knowledgeable staff. Hotel staff worked diligently for a couple of days tracing and recovering our lost luggage. We will certainly consider this hotel in future visits.

The Sevres Saint Germain Hotel is an attractive, comfortable hotel located within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Cathedral de Notre Dame, as well as many museums including d'Orsay and the Musee de Rodin. The area surrounding the hotel is picturesque and lively with many cafes, restaurants and shops. The subway is only a few blocks away. Our room on...

Our stay at Sevres Saint Germain was wonderful. The hotel is on a nice street that is a little away from the tourist crowd but close to several metro stations. Getting around was a snap. There are several restaurants and pastry shops within sight of the hotel. Our room (#15) was away from the street and very quiet, though you...

At first glance this hotel disappoints, but after staying four nights I decided it's a place I could recommend. The service is excellent and personal -- you couldn't ask for more. Breakfast is good and only 5 Euro. Rooms are small and what looked to be an uncomfortable bed turned out to be very comfy. I love having a window...

Dia, Valerie & Takin are wonderful concierges. They went out of their way to be helpful & made excellent suggestions for dinner and for touring. They made reservations & acted as translators for us. All three speak very good English; lucky for us so do not speak French!

Hotel Serves Saint Germaine is 300 years old but still fresh as a Daisy! Wonderful helpful and happy staff (Valerie, Takin, Doa) give the boutique hotel its warm and inviting personality! It is very clean and the beds are very large & comfy. All superior rooms are not equal, so ask for room 25, IMO a superior+ room. The Hotel...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
