There are a million hotels in Paris. I have stayed in some of the nicest and fanciest and some of the dingiest. This hotel is nothing fancy, but it has a great location and the bed is clean and comfy and the bathroom is clean and has a decent shower. Would stay here again, it's a good deal for the...

Location close to the Montparnasse tower – with many bars and restaurants nearby. Small hotel - typical of so many in the centre of Paris – good service from the front desk. Rooms are nice / quite small – get a high floor if you don’t want to be woken up by traffic in the morning – however the hotel...

We stayed here for a week in May. We have stayed in the area before, but this was our first time at this hotel. We arrived mid-morning and our room was ready. There is a small elevator that fits 2 people with luggage. Our room was on the second floor. The room was very clean and in good condition. The...

We stayed at Aramis for four nights in July and it was a great experience overall. The hotel is steps away from two subway lines and is in a shopping district with cafes and restaurants at its doorsteps. The concierge was always friendly and helpful and also helped us book a tour. The room itself was not large but it...

We booked two identical double rooms using a booking agency, and were given two room keys on arrival. One room was lovely - just like the photos on the website - spacious, with floor-ceiling windows, even in the pretty blue+white bathroom. The other room couldn't have been more different - so small that the door banged into the bed, no...

The location of the hotel is close to two different subway stops, tons of shopping, and a grocery store. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Though the rooms were just average rooms with no real frills, but clean and tidy.

Nothing to complain about. Good location in the 6th, easily locatable. Near the metro, near a lot of cafes with good food. Good internet, nice hotel, nice rooms. Sorta old fashion but charming none the less. The reception would tend to any request. Absolutely no complaints.

Several metros very close, 5 minute walk to Blvd St. Germain, another 10 after that to the seine and 10 more to notre dame. 2 minutes to le bon marche, great shopping on rue de rennes, fantastic resto, le rousseau, a block away. The rooms are the tiniest I have...

Hotel Aramis Saint-Germain is in an excellent part of Paris, close to the Metro, and a good walk up to the Seine for all of the sights. Rooms were tiny but great and had ample storage for us. The hotel also had free wi-fi for guests.

The hotel has two apartments available for stays of 5 days or more. The Gregoire apartment is a one bedroom and is located about a block away from the hotel and the hotel serves as the check in location and also provides concierge assistance. Apartment had everything you could need and offers enough space to stretch out something not always...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
