Stayed 4 nights here and felt comfortable. This neighborhood is not as touristy as others (once you get beyond the Eiffle tower and steps around it) so you'll be with Parisians, who I found friendly.
Hotel is in great location for metro, buses.
Rooms are very small. The beds are nothing to enjoy. Sheets were rough and there was a plastic cover on the mattress that made noise and made me sweat.
Breakfast is 13EUR and not worth it. The lady behind the buffet was surly and not...More
Stayed here for the Paris marathon. The location was fantastic - cafes and restaurants nearby, a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, 15 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe, and right next to a tube stop.

Perfect location. Right across from the Trocadero Metro stop. We had a view of the Eiffle tower from our window. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very simple. They were small (as most European hotel rooms are) but clean and had everything we...More
First time in Paris for leisure. Booked 2 rooms for 4 nights in late December 2012 including the New Year's eve. They upgraded my room to have an Eiffel Tower view. Small rooms but clean - okay for travelers. Nice and helpful staff. They even...More

This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical
significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.

Hi, we took a direct bus from CDG to Trocadero via Le bus direct. I bought my tickets on the spot using the ticket booth (using my credit card) and waited for about 10 mins before hopping onto the bus. There are a few lines, so do look out for Line 2 which brings you to Trocadero.
Once you alight, the hotel is just right ahead, less than 3 mins walk. le bus direct may not be the cheapest option for bus, but it's real convenient. I bought a one way Trip so it costs about 17€ per pax per way.
Hope the above helps!
