The staff is warm and accommodating, and the manager, Hamid, is always ready to give a helping hand. I had set myself up to taking it easy and just getting lost in Paris. They have been very accommodating in helping me get to know the City. And staying in a historic building is of course, a plus! 😊

I went to Paris because of work and this hostel was perfect: simple, cheap and quite for my days there. It's well located (near to Le Sacre Coeur and -at least- 2 subway stations), breakfast is good enough and there is no curfew. Regarding rooms, I paid for a shared one (10 persons) but that was no problem, the room...

hostel? the feeling of wealth. when you visit you will feel like a king. apart from having to share the room the reception area feels welcoming and artistic, architecturally and aesthetically pleasing. the area around the garden is well nice.

Overall, this was an excellent hostel! Generally, I don't expect hostels to be the best places ever, so this was awesome by hostel standards. The beds are relatively comfortable (bunk style), there are plenty of outlets, and the rooms can be separated by gender. Almost everyone speaks decent English and give good recommendations. The inside is also GORGEOUS. The bathrooms...

I spent few days at this hostel and must say it has everything you need, no matter if you're only stopping by for one night or decided to stay in Paris for a longer time (that was my case). Staff was also good and helping, especially Gyte (I hope I write the name right), she was welcoming and very helpful...

Nice hostel in a safe and central zone. It's about 5 minutes or less from the metro station Trinité and also Saint-Lazare. It is 5 minutes by foot from Pigalle, from which you can reach Montmartre with no problems. Close also to Opéra and Galleries Lafayette. It's a nice place, staff is very friendly and breakfast is free. The only...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
