A truly no frills hotel. The pros: Location was okay.. convenient to the Louvre and Opera house, Gallery Lafayette, and close to a metro station. Free wifi and worked pretty well. Good AC for a summer night. With that said, maybe I haven't stayed at many 3 star hotels in a while but I expected a bit more for 150/night...

I spent 3 nights in Paris back in December 2013 and stayed at this hotel on a solo trip. The cozy and comfy environment of the hotel really made me able to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Once you get to know the location of it, you will just realize that how convenient it is...

I stayed at this hotel whilst on a business trip. The hotel is lovely and the staff very helpful. The location is great - down a side street and very quiet, yet within a very short walk of Louvre and the centre of Paris. The price is very good value, too, compared with some other central Paris hotels. I would...

This place was not really easy to find but once you know where it is, it is just very convenient to head out from here. It is about 5-mins walk from the Opera theater with a good number of nearby eateries around it. The metro stations are just a stone throw away either way of the street. A tad further...

We spent four nights in Paris. The hotel is in walking distance to the Louvre and the jardin de tuileries, right in the center of Paris. The hotel staff was always friendly, the room clean, even though the furniture could use an update. We had our room on the top floor (which is not accessible by elevator). Our view was...

Charming little hotel in a great location (close to Pyramides and Opera Metro). Very small rooms, but clean, comfortable and very good value for money. If you want to explore Paris on foot and public transport, this is a spot to stay. Would go back

We had a three day staying at the hotel in the heart of Paris. Small rooms, but the size was good since we only stayed in the hotel for sleeping. 5-10 minutes walk from the louvre. 10-15 minutes from the opera and around 30 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. Nice restaurants located around, we took a walk to the...

This hotel is well located in the Opera district, near several metro stops and the Roissy bus stop for CDG, but on a side street that is reasonably quiet. There are many restaurants nearby. A ten minute walk will take you to the Seine with magnificent views of the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, etc. During five or six...

This hotel is good value for money as long as you are not overweight or over-tall! :-) The lift, bedroom and bathroom were all small but still had everything that we needed and the standard of decoration is high. Our room had both opening windows and an air conditioner. It is a very quiet location considering how close it is...

Hotel is well placed in Paris Opera, bed are comfortable, WiFi is reasonable, hotel is reasonably clean, but the rooms are tiny and our bathroom was so small that it was difficult to move within. Rates seem to vary with the disposition of the staff.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
