The hotel is set 10 minute walk from away from Notre Dame and outside the front door is one of the main metro lines. So location is perfect. The rooms have slightly wacky decor, and some rooms suffer with mould. 11 of us stayed here and for the price we paid couldn't really moan. It's not luxury but for a...

Subway station (line 1) is right next to the hotel. Great location. Clean hotel room and polite staff. We stayed on the 4th floor. The stairs are old and hard to step so if you have health problems or something similar please be sure to ask a room in the lowest floor. The stairs and and the narrow hotel is...

Stayed here this weekend great location right near Notre Dame and the tube station right outside the door. Even had onion soup in the rest next door and they serve onion soup which is amazing. We had room 20 on the middle floor and if your reasonably fit it's no problem staff all friendly including the guy we met on...

82 USD on Hotwire. Breakfast was small but was only 10 euros. Nice stuff but nothing more. Don't expect anything but good location. Stairs are a hazard for older people. Not a bad experience. Room is clean and lots of hot water

Never go to this hotel. This was the worst traveling experience of my life. I was staying at the hotel for three nights. During the last night of my stay I packed everything (because I was going to leave the day after in the morning) and I went out for dinner. I came back to the hotel few hours later...

The good points -- Hotel Pointe Rivoli is a small/boutique hotel in the Marais neighborhood. It is literally steps from the Saint Paul metro station. The location is terrific for getting around Paris. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the area. The staff was friendly. The room was cute (yes, it was small, this is Paris/Europe! Most hotel...

We had a room at the 5th floor (no elevator!) Room was clean. location good and staff friendly, but noise in the night was terrible. It's not possible to sleep with your window open. If you don't mind than no problem.

Would highly not recommend staying here. Stairs are extremely narrow and difficult to walk up- even without luggage! They are a safety hazard. I am surprised they are legal. Rooms are very small and average, barely fit luggage in there. The bathrooms were tiny, toilet seat did not work properly. At the time of our stay there was no hot...

The location of this hotel is perfect. Next to the metro. But aslo on walking distance of many interesting places and a lot of lovely shops. The room was ok. I had a room on the 1st floor, so I had no trouble with the stairs. The hotel is not bad but very average. For the price of the room...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
