Three people could barely fit in the elevator, and our room was cozy but claustrophobic. We stayed here on a lay-over on December 31, 2010, and the proximity to the Eiffel Tower was great. The staff was helpful and attentive, and they gave us a box of chocolates upon our arrival. Nice buffet breakfast in the basement. From our room,...

This is my second time staying at the Duquesne (first time was in October 2008) and it continues to be a wonderful experience. We celebrated my sister's 50th birthday and everything was perfect. I had prearranged a surprise bottle of champagne which was waiting for us upon arrival. I requested room #56 which did not appear to age at all...

This hotel was what we expected. Clean, good staff, not overpriced, good location, but very small rooms. Having stayed in NYC many nights, we expected similar hotel sizes in Paris, and thats what we got. We would recommend a stay here, as the location is good, and if you're in Paris, you just need your room for sleeping, as the...

My Boyfriend and I just came back from an amazing weekend break in Paris. The hotel was gorgeous. The View from our balcony was breath-taking [Room 51]. The hotel was close to the Eiffel Tower [5-10 mins walk] and some lovely restaurants. I was in a location were we could walk everywhere, and walking in the opposite direction to the...
