We were told by a friend about this great little Hotel in Paris. The service and friendliness of the staff were outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. The pillows are great and we enjoyed two nights of good sleep. Although...More
It was six years since our last visit but this is still a very good choice for those who love the Marais district. The welcome is friendly, the building has character, and the location is incredibly convenient - step out of the door and countless...More
We stayed at the Brettonerie for 11 nights in September, 2013. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. The location in the Marais is close to restaurants, shops and the metro. Breakfast was convenient and plentiful, served in a charming room with nice Villory and Boch china....More
We stayed for three nights, and enjoyed a very spacious room for Paris, nicely decorated and comfortable, a decent breakfast for Paris, and the most convenient location, with so much within walking distance. Not cheap, but then little decent is in Paris. Very helpful and...More

The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of
people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.

Sure, 24 hour reception and they will call a taxi for you, preferably preorder the evening before your departure and the taxi will be there in time or even in advance just outside the entrance or park just opposite!
