My husband and I visited this hotel in April 2008. We had a wonderful stay! The Hotel Staff was so very nice and polite. Prior to our stay we advised them that we were celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we were upgraded to a Superior Room. Before I arrived, I emailed them requesting directions from the airport on the...

We are tardy in writing our review, we had the good fortune of staying one evening, June 10 and have nothing but good to relay. Very clean, great breakfast and the staff on at booking in was very friendly and helpful as were the night bar staff and desk staff. The location is excellent with great restaurants and shops all...

We spent five nights at the Lenox Montparnasse Hotel on Rue Delambre in Paris. It was a delightful stay. A full breakfast including scrambled eggs and meats was served every morning downstairs in the lovely bar/breakfast/tea area, but we had croissants, cereal, yogurt and coffee delivered to our room as our daily wakeup call. The rooms are, as others have...

The staff are wonderfully helpful and pleasant. The hotel itself is a wonderful little gem tucked away in a great walking neighborhood. It is close to several Metro stations, and one can go to any other part of Paris easily. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Curiously, the bathroom is rather ample, considering the size of the overall accomodation....

We arrived on our first trip together, my visit the 4th I have made to Paris, hers the first. My previous hotels have been chain hotels (eg Hilton) but I wanted a more Parisien feel and frankly, a cheaper price. Getting to the hotel from CDG was simpler than the instructions given on the booking form as the Air France...

Wonderful; not only is the hotel in a quit street, the area is close to walk through the luxembourg gardens and onto the central district while passing some chic cafes and great shops. The best thing about it though which cannot be priced is the staff right down to the chamber maids. we have a 18 month old and to...

I stayed here from July 8th to 11th on a business trip. I booked the hotel through a web-site, but checked up on the Trip Advisor reviews first. The hotel is in a good location and has friendly staff. The rooms are not huge but are comfortable with air-conditioning. The breakfast in the bar area is fine with a reasonably...

We (my wife and I and two teenage sons) really enjoyed our stay in Paris, and the Lenox Montparnasse provided a consistently good home base. Julia at the front desk was fantastic, making us feel welcome from the start, and speaking fluent English while trying to help us with our very poor French. The rooms were small but clean, and...

As Americans travelling to France, we highly recommend the Hotel Montparnasse. The staff was very friendly, spoke English, and were very knowledgable about how to travel to as well as the schedules of various tourist destinations. Out room was small but certainly acceptable for the price. The room and especially the bathroom were very clean. The hotel is not located...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
