I've stayed in a number of Paris hotels over the years so don't have overly high expectations. This place was a fine: only a 5 minute walk to Gard de Lyon, the room was small but very clean, and both the day and night staff were helpful and smiling.

It has been a really long time since I last stayed at a 2-star hotel. I spent two nights at Jules Cesar hotel, participating in a project meeting, as it was one of the hotels suggested by the organizers of the meeting. The hotel is really small but well-located near Gare de Lyon, one of the central stations (e.g. one...

I stayed in this hotel in Dec 11. A twin sharing room cost us 75 Euros, however, the room is too basic. Bathrooms are very very basic. There is a cupboard to keep your luggage, but its too small for suitcases. The hotel has breakfast (which is not buffet), however its very basic (heard all hotels in Paris give such...

This hotel is great if you are looking for a cheap(er) hotel. The room was small and basic but clean. My room had its own bathroom with a shower (something I am told is not a guarantee in Paris). The staff at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located about a 6 minute walk from the...

In a very expensive city, this hotel is of a very good value. We stayed for 5 nights. The room and ensuite shower/toilet is clean. The size of the room is not too small and the bed was quite good. Towels were changed everyday. As a 2 star hotel, you can't expect more for the breakfast but it was indeed...

My husband and I took a late honeymoon to Paris. After some research and looking at prices and what not we decided to stay here. What I was looking for was a comfortable place to sleep and shower the breakfast in the morning was a great perk for the price! I expected the rooms to be smaller than I was...

Not far from the Gare de Lyon, Bastille Opera. very well located. I chose the hotel by pure chance. And was very positively surprised. Quiet rooms despite being on a high trafic road, due to double windows.

When I am in Paris my time is spent out in the cafe, restaurant, squares, and parks. No need for a hotel but to sleep. The Jules Cesar handles that well. Also, since the Gare de Lyon is only blocks away I can take the TGV to the south without getting a taxi-an uncertainty in Paris-and without additional concerns. Not...
