the only redeeming feature of this hotel was its location. it had tired looking interiors. way beyond quaint and charming. the room we had booked had old, worn carpeting and a musty smell. when we expressed our disappointment, we were offered another room which admittedly...More
We stayed at this charming hotel while touring Paris and found it to be perfect for our purposes. Since it was previously a monastery, we did not expect all the glitz & amenities of a modern hotel chain, but we found it to have memorable...More
This is a great little hotel near the Rue Cler, a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was a bit noisy in the morning since there is a school...More
Great location close to the Eiffel Tower and other major attractions. Friendly and very helpful staff going out of their way to assist on planning activities and transport. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby.

With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and
politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.

The breakfast at this hotel is extra. It was a small basket of bread/rolls, yogurt and coffee. The cost was about 11 Euros and not worth it. I can't answer regarding the air conditioning since I was there in January but if the rest of my experience was the norm, I would guess that there is no air conditioning. The hotel is overpriced and not comfortable at all...don't even try to get your suitcases up the narrow (and that's being generous) staircase.
