Awful! just awful toilets, mixed males and females! HOW HARD IS IT TO DESIGNATE A SHOWER AND TOILET JUST FOR FEMALES? It feels so unsafe! if you can't shower and pee and poo decently how are you going to enjoy yours stay? Being close to the station doesn't make up for it! Just nasty!

Well, the good parts: near to Metro stations, close to centrum, not so much expensive, nice personal, common fridge the bad parts: Toilets and showers, that is totally disaster. The warm water flows after 10 minutes and it is very ugly. The toilets looks like from 1970s. The bed and rooms, well ok, it is hostel. The breakfasts are poor,...

Very poor service at this hostel especially with breakfast. I am an early riserr and was not allwed into the kitchen befor 7am. There is in fact no proper kitchen, just a kettle and a microwave oven. If you try to get into the kitchen before 7am the manager chases you out and you have to wait until a lady...

The staff are friendly, the location is central, the price is cheap, but the facilities are distinctly lacking. It was a disappointment in comparison with other hostels. There is only one toilet/shower per gender on each floor, and they need more than a lick of paint to clean them up. The lights are all on timers, which can be a...

I wasn't expecting much for an hostel in paris at this price, just the minimum, but then it was less than that ... The hostel seems like it is stuck in time ... not renovation has been made for years, the restrooms are digusting and there is no practical common area where you can relax. I was sorry I booked...

I, my wife and my children stayed at the hostel during 16-23 Aug. It is an adequate hostel considering its price and especially its proximity to République (metro) which is at 6/7 minutes walk. The breakfast, beds, rooms, washrooms, kitchen are just adequate especially if you view it as a hostel. Suggestion- if you are staying in dorm with other...

One of the desk staff can do her job. The rest are very busy indeed checking their phones, and can take several minutes to even notice you standing there. But then, standing at Reception being ignored is probably the highlight of your stay here. The rooms are up a long, narrow staircase. There is a lift, but neither you nor...

Breakfast was quite adequate. Bathrooms adequate but filthy, used toilet paper overflowing out of the bin into the shower cubicle, used toilet paper swirling around your feet while you shower. All manner of bugs in the bed, here comes a month of buying potions and lotions and discarding infested clothing, that said it is not the hostel staff who refuse...

Prior to our stay, I really considered booking at a different location because of all the negative reviews. However, aside from the breakfast, everything about this hostel was adequate. The rooms and showers were clean. We spent four nights there and did not see any bed bugs. The man at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. The maids got very...

First the good. The people at the desk here are quite good at their job and very helpful. They do keep an eye on who enters and leaves. They will do all they can to make your stay comfortable. Likewise the location is perfect for a stay in Paris. The metro is a 6 minute walk away. There are numerous...

“Street-facing rooms have a lot of traffic noise because the windows aren't soundproof. Bring earplugs and you'll be fine. Also, if you're female make sure your dorm is all-female (not sure if there are co-ed dorms here but if there are, I wouldn't stay in one.)”
