First arrived and the concierge on reception was very pleasant as were the other members of staff. Our room was very good and well maintained, lovely view from the balcony of the streets below. Comfy bed with flat screen TV. Air conditioning wasn't great and wifi was a little flaky. However would definitely recommend this hotel as the location is... More

We recently were in France and this hotel was recommended to us and we were very please. Unbelievable staff especially Samon. All the staff smiled and were very helpful. A good location for walking to major attractions. A great district for shopping and for very nice small local restaurants. The room was well decorated and enjoyable

We stayed for 7 nights in this charming boutique hotel because it is in a perfect location on the Left bank, up the street from the Seine. It in a pleasant and attractive area of Paris with plenty of good cafes around and within walking distance of so many interesting places such as Notre Dame, Rodin museum, Musee D'ordso. Staff... I'm writing this review at the airport because that's how frustrated I am. My wife and I spent our last 2 nights of our Paris honeymoon at this hotel because it was located in a wonderful area not knowing we would be leaving with bed bugs, room #42. Initially we thought it was from bugs outside but as we found... More

We stayed at Hotel Saint Germain from 9/17-9/24/15 and had a great experience. Samon, hotel manager, was so helpful (offering restaurant suggestions, making reservations, printing maps, and calling for transportation), and he spoke fluent English. Our room was very small (typical of Europe), but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We enjoyed a continental breakfast each morning,... More

Saman and staff so considerate and made everything so easy. We stayed 5 nights and the last night was in a Jr Suite which we would book the whole time next trip. The location and block the hotel is on, many Parisians live around and many nice markets and cafes are a skip away. The museums and clothes shopping in... More

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Saint Germain for 5 nights in August 2015. We booked this hotel mainly on the strength of TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Hotel Saint Germain was not specifically recommended by Fodors, Frommers, Rick Steves but should be! For now, it remains a hidden gem. Getting There We flew in to CDG and... More

Very Clean, Helpful Staff, Good Location, Great Restaurants nearby. Short walk to Notre Dame, Metro, River, and sights of Paris. VERY nice Area to stay in, we felt very safe walking around in this area - more-so than other parts of Paris in the evening.

Saint Germain is what we in the U.S. Would call a boutique hotel: small, intimate & upscale. We arrived and were warmly greeted by Samon, the Concierge. Our room was small (double bed), nicely decorated with black/white French country toile wallpaper, matching drapes & bedding and a comfortable size white marble bathroom. Continental Breakfast (assorted French pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal,... More
