This hotel shines because of its excellent location next to the Sorbonne and Pantheon, and its great price. One warning to visitors would be that the rooms are very small indeed, but they have everything you need for a short stay. Check in and check out were completely painless and the hotel is very clean and pleasant. My only negatives...

This place was perfectly fine for the night I stayed there. It is clean and the single bed was comfortable. The checkin experience was very pleasant. The word that most describes the experience of staying here, though, is "small." The rooms was small, the bed was small, the shower was really small, even the hallways leading to the rooms was...

Stayed here with friends and found this to be a lovely place for quick trip to Paris . Rooms are small but very well appointed. Everything is very clean and rooms are very good value for single travellers in Paris. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available at 9euro and quite adequate. Would stay here again.

Clean, compact and modern. It was centrally located and the receptionist was really friendly. The room and en-suite bathroom is really small, but it's to be expected in Paris. The bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again!

We stayed here for a long weekend around New years eve. £150 each, hotel was very spacious and kept clean at all times. The smell of drains in the loo was off putting though. Brilliant location near bars/restaurants and just a 10 min walk from the Notre Damme.

I stayed here for three days for a meeting with a local university. My room (53) was very tight and the shower was almost too small for me to get inside. That said, this is my 5-6th trip to Paris, so this was expected. What I loved was the AC in the place that worked like a charm, you could...

The rooms are quite small, as you might expect, but were clean and up to date. And you can't beat the location if you're interested in the Latin Quarter, Luxembourg Gardens, etc. (also walking distance to Notre Dame). Choice of small or larger continental breakfasts (about 5 vs. 9 Euros). The desk people spoke excellent English and were very polite...

Third visit to this hotel. Just off Bvde St Michel, 5 mins walk Notre Dame. Smaller room this time but immaculate and everything you need. Staff very helpful - made bookings, printed vouchers - had just paid $15 for a phone call in London so really appreciated the personal attention we received here. Even recommended the best patisserie nearby and...

My family really enjoyed staying here for 4 nights in late June. It is very near many sites (we walked to the Louvre and Notee Dame). Plenty of good food choices nearby. Our room was very clean, the bathroom was large and cleaned daily. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
