Friendly staff, comfy beds, great breakfast. Ideally placed, only a 20' stroll to Arc du Triomphe! Visited Sacre Coueur and Montmartre. Boat trip on the Seine was very enjoyable. Would definitely stay at The Hotel Magellan again.

We booked at the Magellan through an Air Transat package because the price was right and it seemed like a perfectly decent location for us. It more than met our expectations. Although the 17th arrondissement doesn't seem close to the action when you look on a map, it's a 10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe and we even...

Stayed here for the weekend of Wales v France 6 nations match. Lovely hotel, clean rooms very good breakfast too. Not sure why some reviewers complain about breakfast as we found it to be very good every day we stayed. Location is also convenient for sightseers - 10 minute walk to Arc de Triomphe also convenient for metro stations. Would...

We booked through the AA Getaways website and this turned out to be a good deal. When the Eurostar got cancelled, the AA paid for an extra night with no quibbles. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. There was a good range of fresh breakfast choices to keep you going when site-seeing! Recommended.

The hotel is a few stops from Arc de Triomphe. We stayed 3 nights and our experience was quite positive. The recepcionist was very friendly and even though we had a small problem regarding payment, he was very patient and polite. Our room had a good amount of space, the bathroom was well cleaned and the shower had hot water...

We were warmly welcomed by the English speaking receptionist, and seamlessly checked in. The hotel has a very modern and clean appearance, and our room in the annex across the pretty courtyard reflected that. The room was more than large enough for the two of us, and amongst the facilities were tea, coffee, hair dryer, iron, bathroom toiletries, free WiFi...

We stayed in this hotel last August and plan to return again in May. For the price, the location was great. We stayed 2 nights for our third time. Only 5 Minutes from the next Metro-Station or 15 Minute by feet to the arc de Triomphe. Friendly and helpfull staff and a very good breakfast, The rooms are big enough for a city trip. Excellent is the possibility to rent a carpark space only a few metres away from the hotel.

Booked this holiday through Guardian travel and chose this hotel based on other reviews. Was not disappointed. 5 minutes walk from the metro station. We had a twin bedded room facing onto the garden.
