Hotel Beaubourg is in a great location - steps from the Centre Pompidou, surrounded by restaurants, and an easy walk to Notre Dame. We booked the junior suite which isn't terribly large, but has a nice outdoor seating area we enjoyed. The room was clean and in good repair, staff were all pleasant, helpful, and able to speak English. Our...

We love this hotel. Aside from it being in a wonderful neighborhood for us - right next to beaubourg museum and the marais neighborhood - , aside from having a bus company they order directly from for a shuttle back to the airport, aside from having different rooms ( this is clearly NOT the holiday inn) each room a personnality...

We were delighted with our choice (thanks to other TA reviewers) of this charming hotel. It's the 6th hotel we've stayed in in Paris, and our favourite by far. Our room (34) was pretty, incredibly quiet, overlooking a courtyard - and in such a central situation - a fabulous combination! It had a very comfortable bed and bathroom. The staff...

We were in a small group and it worked well for a couple of days of sight-seeing. Easy access to the Hotel de Ville metro station. The bed was comfortable. The way in which the shower was retrofitted into the old bathtub was defective and the floor ended up with standing water after each shower. And the self-closing doors really...

I was here on a business trip in February. Hotel Beaubourg is a small hotel in a side-street of Centre Pompidou. I felt very welcomed by a smiling reception. The hotel looks very nice and clean. I was in room 25 (see photo). A for Paris, surprisingly, spacious and very quiet room. There is 24/7 friendly reception which makes you...

Have been here many times before as the location is suberb. This time made a reservation so that the breakfast was included. Considering the high price of the hotel, the breakfast is really, really poor. It hasn't seen any true buffet because most is brought to you with fixed portions and what is at the buffet is totally with very...

We have been staying at the Beaubourg each November for many many years. The front desk folks (Kassim, and others) are always friendly and helpful, as are the housekeepers. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The internet service is free and reliable. I give the hotel "five stars" because it is a five star hotel in its price range. There...

We stayed here for four nights in November in a room on the 3rd floor. It was a wonderful stay- some of the best sleep we've ever had in a hotel. The hotel was very easy to access from Gare de l'Est (only one change, then a 2 minute walk from the Metro stop). The hotel staff was very friendly,...

Great location in central Paris, close to museums and shopping. The room was comfortable, very clean and very quiet. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. I thought the breakfast was fine with many different options.

Right in the heart of everything, Hotel Beaubourg was the perfect home base for a visit to Paris. The hotel staff -- to a person -- was thoughtful and accommodating. They patiently humored my efforts at speaking French, and were equally happy to speak English (fluently). Bed was comfortable, room immaculate, shower hot and high-pressure. Two bonuses: the breakfast includes...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
