I stayed with my husband and my three children, the youngest is 17. We booked a double and a triple but the triple room had a double and a single bed. My children get on well but not enough to want to share a bed. The hotel staff would not do anything to help on the first night despite me...

I initially booked a room at the hotel for my girlfriend and I to have a nice vacation. However, last minute the babysitter had an emergency and we had to take our kids with us. Fast forward to the hotel, as soon as we walk through the door. The guy at the desk, with a bad attitude, tells me we...

We (two friends) stayed here for two nights in march 2016. Hotel is located in very prime location near pigaille metro station (Famous Moulin Rouge theatre is very near). Overll room is good and cleanliness very good, breakfast is average but chargeable. overall good stay but we paid little high. Can go for this due to its central location.

We knew that this hotel wouldn't have everything, but it had the things we wanted - who wants to stay in the hotel when you have Paris to explore? The staff were friendly and most had fantastic English. The room was small, but enough for our 3 day stay. It would have been nice to have a kettle on the...

The hotel was decent considering we got a bargain on a flight and hotel. However I was staying with my friend and we had asked for twin beds, it was annoying that we had to share a double for two nights. Aside from that the room was clean and we got a back room so didn't hear any noise from...

You will find this hotel to be very clean and well managed and serving an excellent breakfast at a fair price. If you take the time to walk around neighborhood, you will appreciate the wonder of everyday life in Paris.

The hotel is value for money considering its location to major Metro and bus. Rooms are small and noise insulation was bad. Staying on first floor can clearly hear street traffic. Free breakfast for us was just OK but it is always the same for the whole week. Staffs were generally helpful and the lady in the breakfast Cafe was...

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel during our Paris visits. It's a small, tidy hotel. Room was small, bathroom even smaller, but it was clean, which is the main thing. Bed was fairly big and confortable. I've seen no air conditioning heating was provided by a small heater which was enough. No parking. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel...

I pre-booked a few nights here so I couldn’t leave, but if I can save you from this experience and not wasting your money I will!Firstly in France the hotels are supposed to be Smoking free areas, this was clearly a hotel where people smoked constantly, our room smelt disgusting. The location is ok to get around Paris, but everything...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
