Stayed here for 5 nights in July with my husband. We stayed at the Novotel just around the corner a couple of years ago (very nice), but couldn't justify the cost this time around. We wanted to be in this area as we found it was so easy literally being on the doorstep of the RER line straight to CDG... More

We found this hotel by accident. But it worked out great. It is just around the corner from the train which is just one stop to the next train that takes you to the CDG airport. When I go back I will stay there, because the location is great. A lot of nice hotels and resturant. It is also a... More

I spent two nights at the hotel with my brother and his wife. I had a single room overlooking Rue Sainte Opportune and was not bothered by the late night and early morning street sounds. Although small, the room was clean and comfortable. The shower attachment was broken and had come off the wall. When we arrived, half a dozen... More

Stay here. You will love it! We were here 2 nights at the end of July. The location is great, tucked away near convenient cafes, shopping, and restaurants. Both service people met could not have been nicer and more helpful. It was quiet at night, regardless of the hopping scene down on the street. It was easy to get all... More

This is a very nice hotel - helpful staff (both front desk and housekeeping), nice rooms, well located on the right bank for sightseeing (Pompidou, Louvre and Notre Dame all within blocks(!) and right on the RER line) and air conditioned. That last is important, because the hotel is above a busy strip of night clubs and bars. With the... More

Family with 2 teenage kids stayed 3 nights. Had 2 interconnected rooms.one was a godnsize and the other quite small but was compensated with a great balcony overlooking the walking plaza below. Rooms were extremely clean with good bathrooms and nice beds. Staff are very helpful and this was much appreciated. The location makes for a short walk to Notre... More

Stayed for 5 nights in a double room overlooking the street. The room was small as expected ,the bed was a little too firm and the bath had no shower curtain. However we were able to walk to many sights and the Batobus stop easily. At night although the area below our window was very noisy with bars and restaurants... More

We stayed here for three nights B&B having read the good reviews on Tripadvisor. We were very disappointed with the hotel as it does not look at all like on the website which states that it has been recently modernised.. Our room was tiny and the bathroom was bearly big enough for one. The paint on the bottom of the... More

We stayed here for the first 4 nights of our honeymoon in April. Being literally a minute's walk from one of the subways for Chatelet and close to lots of other stations, it was a great base to get to everywhere we wanted to go to in and around Paris including Disneyland and Versailles. We walked to Notre Dame and... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
