What a great city hotel. Not in a traditional "tourist" location but ideal for cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. A few minutes to the metro, bus stops near by to take you to all the top attractions. We had a very warm welcome and the team at the hotel couldn't do enough for us. We booked a superior room which...

Hotel l'Antoine was a great find! My wife and I visited Paris in May of 2017. The adventure of planning the trip led us to discover this gem in the Bastille district of the city. We arrived early at the hotel, but were greeted warmly by the front desk staff. They checked with the efficient housekeeping staff to assure that...

The l'Antoine is a nice hotel in the pulsating center of a wonderful young, interesting "party all night long" quartier. We had a room (in the 3rd floor) to the backyard, so it was perfectly quite though. Positive: Next metro station Bastille is just around the corner, the Île de la Cité is only few stations away. The room was...

A very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Easy access to the Metro and the Bastille area was very vibrant. Complimentary breakfast with our booking was a bonus.. The double glazing worked well keeping out the noise of the late night revellers. Enjoyed our stay. .

Stayed here with husband and two boys, 10 and 14. The hotel is really well situated near Bastille metro station. The room was lovely, we had a suite. It was plenty big enough for the four of us, with the boys on a sofa bed in a separate room. The only issue with that was that we had to open...

This hotel is ideally located for getting around. Close to 2 metro stations serving 2 lines, it's in a quiet street in a lively district. The Marxist district is within walking distance, as are numerous bars shops and restaurants of many different styles. Each room is well equipped, if a little small. Two people with 2 large suitcases would find...

Amazing. Only bad point-Make up smudges left on bathroom wall by otherwise clean, immaculate bedroom. Lovely staff. Nice decorations. Good beds- slept well. Nice central location, close to Bastille which is wekk Connected for gare du nord.

Perfectly placed for bars and restaurants. We walked into town to see the Eiffel tower doing sight seeing along the way. Then got the metro back as the station was a 2min walk from the hotel. Rooms were clean, modern and staff were all lovely. Definitely recommend .

Great / convenient location to sights, metro, dining, shopping, etc. Modern/ comfortable size bathroom. In room safe. Friendly, courteous, English speaking staff. Complementary umbrellas and late evening pastries. Grocery / convenience store nearby. We had some Wifi, room maintenance and plumbing issues but would consider revisiting Hotel L Antoine based on its value and location

Staying in Bastille / Oberkampf

Neighbourhood Profile
Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighbourhood.
