The service at this hotel is excellent and considering the price and where it is (there are direct bus lines to St-Germain and the gare Montparnasse, plus the metro station "Les Gobelins" and the RER "Port-Royal" at walking distance!). No TV in the rooms, but who needs that when you are in Paris??? No internet either, but to check on...

We thought we had a real deal with the price we booked for this hotel, but it turned out that there were some drawbacks. The clerk who checked us in was extremely unfriendly and refused to give helpful advice about where to find wireless internet access, even though there was a McDonald's right across the street that had free internet...

The Port Royal fit my needs perfectly - it was affordable, nice location and clean. The staff were both kind and knowledgeable about Paris and transportation links. My room faced the street, but was well insulated and I did not hear any traffic. I will definitely go back to the Port Royal next time I am in Paris as I...

Stayed for two nights with a group of others in a mixture of en suite and non en suite rooms. Found the rooms to be small but adequately sized, always clean and very comfy. It was always warm in the hotel, so be warned it might be a bit hot in summer...but there are large French windows, so it shouldn't...

Stayed 2 days, the rooms are exceptionally clean and until I had a problem the service was fine.....BUT.... when I went to report that the shower was faulty the response from the man behind the reception desk was aggressive, rude, unpleasant and so extreme I was almost afraid. Certainly bad enough to put me off ever staying in the hotel...

As a couple, my husband and I were very pleased with our stay at Port Royal. It had a lot of advantages: it is away from the hustle and bustle of the City Center, but extremely close to a Metro (about a 5 min. walk). The room was small and simple, but cozy with a lovely view over the main...

During our recent trip to Europe my husband and I stayed at Port Royal on two separate occasions. The location was great, close to major sites, restaurants, the metro, etc. and the price was good. The hotel is also very clean. Our first experience was quite pleasant... Our second stay was not as pleasant. We had some difficulty with the...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Yes the showers cost money, but we didnt have any problems with paying a small amount. The length of time was more than fine. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The location is great with easy access to the metro and a whole heap of shops etc. The only complaint I had...

I stayed here for four nights, and thought it very good indeed. The hotel is spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful. Yes the shower is 2.50 euro for five minutes, but this is long enough to shower and wash your hair, so no complaints from me, though if you book you might want to ask for a room...

My daughter and I stayed here for six nights recently. We were so pleased that I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It was extremely clean. We paid 2,50 euro for a 15 minute shower. This didn't bother us because the shower was impeccably kept at all times. We paid 50,50 euro per night for the two of us...
