Apartment was very small. Could not stand up upstairs as ceiling was too low. Might be fine if you're under 4 foot! Sink and toilet in bathroom kept blocking. Difficult to find someone to get fresh towels, toilet roll, help to phone for taxi, etc. We stayed on ground floor, FOD.

We stayed at Les Patios du Marais for 4 nights. We were two adults and two children. The room was wonderfully appointed with everything we needed (except a corkscrew, bring one if you enjoy wine!). The location was perfect for us, we were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre and Pere de Lachaise Cemetery, although they were...

The room that we took was in the 4th floor (top floor) and there was no elevator. So if you are travelling with big luggage, it's not convenient for you. But when we arrived there, we were surprised by the room. It was unique, cozy, and warm. The kitchen and pantry were also set up nicely. Our children loved the...

Room size was trim but this is Paris so not at all usual and who cares really ! Great shower, v comfy bed and a mini kitchen so everything we needed in one neat parcel. Lots of stairs for our 5th floor room so stiff jointed folk may need lower floors. Loved view for our room - pure Paris. Very...

The apartments are in a great location and very clean, they are a bit over priced but just normal for Paris prices. The wifi in the room was very good as each room had their own wifi. There isn't anyone in reception from around 7pm till 9am which could be a problem if you needed assistance. The apartments had a...

This well situated apartment block is very close to the Metro station Arts & Metiers which means you can get almost anywhere almost anytime. The apartment was comfortable but small and is not serviced. We enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

My friends and I booked this apartment for the weekend for my friends 26th birthday. On the photos on booking.com it looked really nice and retro, as well as being good value for money. We arrived at the apartment on Friday evening and had a 3 room apartment with 3 double beds, which was great as there was 6 of...

After walking up 5 flights of stairs which were grotty, filthy and looked like they had never seen a hoover, we arrived on Friday evening to our top floor 6 person apartment that had one bedroom and 2 mattresses on the floor on a mezzanine area so low you had to crawl around. At first the glance the apartment is...

The place is nice and is a good location as well. However, coordinating with the staff is another thing all together. Our train was delayed so there was no one to assist us when we reached. After carrying heavy bags to the third floor through the narrow winding staircase, the door wouldn't open and we were locked out for 30...

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
