The hotel is simply awesome and worth recommending to fellow travelers. The reasons for recommendation are as follows:- 1. EXCELLENT location- Located next to the main attractions on Paris. Almost everything is at a walking distance. The hotel is barely a minute walk to a metro station. Even the main RER B and C station is a 5 minute walk....

Consider the location, service and cost, this is a good choice for budget stay. Stayed for a day alone. Upon check in, the staff was friendly. My single room was supposed to be on high floor, but I was given a free upgrade to a double room on 1st floor as believe not peak season then. Hence, only need to...

We've stayed several times at this friendly hotel on a quiet street a few steps from Blvd St Germain and the Maubert metro stop. Roland, the genial and generous owner is on hand to offer guidance for first-time as well as experienced visitors to Paris. Clean and well maintained, welcoming multilingual staff. Free use of the hotel's laundry machines! Like...

I came here with my wife on a two days trip in Paris; we booked it on the internet thanks to the affordable price. Our room was on the 6th (and last) floor, with no available elevator! It obviously wasn't ready when we get there (check-in time around midday, we arrived at 1.30 pm), as it was unclean and some...

Your comment is polemic and not factual. First the Hotel was totally renovated ( 3 * matress, painting, plumbing ). We could have allocate you a room on a lower floor. But you did not express anything. You came a day when we had a lot of reservations and a lot of check out/check in . Most of the rooms...

This was my fifth stay at the hotel. The rooms are basic but always clean and the staff friendly. Shower good and plenty of towels etc. The room was nice and warm which was great in the recent very cold weather. The breakfast has improved - now croissants as well as baguette offered. The stairs are a challenge but outweighed...

This hotel is wonderful value for money and is in a fantastic position close to lots of Left Bank attractions. We had a room with plenty of space, separate shower and toilet rooms. There is no lift but access was ok on the first floor up. Breakfast was fine and staff friendly and helpful.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
