This hotel was clean and tidy and situated only a short walking distance from Gare Montparnasse, many underground routes, the Montparnasse tower and various bars and restaurants. The Eiffel Tower was reached in morning rush hour in under half an hour, for example, via the...More
Hotel was great, it's located opposite the train station and you can literally get to all the sights from the metro, service on the desk was prompt and nothing was too much trouble, very helpful with restaurant recommendations and advise with the trains!
Good boutique hotel, bedroom and bathroom very clean and (continental) breakfast more than adequate. Room faced onto very noisy street so it was either windows shut and very hot all night, or window open and deafened by noise - maybe ask for a room at...More
Small rooms , small lobby, small stairs - a quite normal thing for Paris. Bathroom wasn't comfortable - owners should equip bathroom with doors or bath curtains. I recommend that hotel for people who need just to stay one night

The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small
gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
