Really nice hotel. Would recommend it to anyone! Spotless clean, Mini bar, great staff, central location. Just returned from a 3 night visit and will definitely return. Well worth the money. Receptionist (lady with black hair and smiled all the time) was really really nice and a credit to the hotel. She gave us any information we needed during our...

Hotel has a great location near Opera Garnier. The metro station is one block away. Rooms are small and doubtly clean and the bathroom is the smallest I have ever seen but it is very good option for those who won't spend a lot of time in the room, the receptionists are very polite and helpful.

The hotel is little but it's very comfortable and clean, they change bed clothes and towels every day and you don't have to ask for it. The room I stayed in was little but with a lot of light. The location of the hotel is great because it's two minutes walking from the Opera metro station.

Hotel is very good to sleep over. Helpful and polite staff. Close to everything and near Metro. Don't expect too much but when you open french window and see small pastry shop across the street you will know you are in Paris!

Run by the parisian Basil Faulty, we were treated with insolence from the time we arrived. When we asked if it was possible to give the members of our group with babies priority they just tutted and then made them wait 3 hours before giving them their room which turned out to be too small to fit a baby cot...

Stayed in a small double room and it was perfect - enough room for both of us, comfortable bed and very clean. The breakfast was 10/10 with a fresh selection of food and drinks. Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. Definitely would 100% recommend and will be staying again next time in Paris!

The 9th arrondissement (around Opera) is tres chic a Paris. So if location is paramount, close to the best shopping districts and central Paris you wont find spacious rooms on a budget. I thought Hotel Helder Opera was a good compromise, clean and working, it looked threadbare and in need of a redecoration. But I was there only 2 nights...

Arrived and was greeted by the friendly staff. Absolutely loved the room. Little small but everything functioned. Beds were confortable and so clean. I didnt plan to stay in the hotel the whole day so it didnt bother me that it was small. I came to see Paris and I didnt need a spacious or fancy room. Tea and coffee...

Starting with the positive - this was a great location for all the tourist attractions but that is the only good thing. The hotel did not look like the rooms advertised. I found them small, cramped, DIRTY and way over price. I could not even walk around the bed, the carpet was so bad and it had lots of stains...

The hotel's got an amazing location. Shops, restaurants and everything you need/want in walking distance. However, the hotel doesn't look like the picture represent. The hotel is outdated. The quality of the beds are bad, the space in the room is extremely small en overall it just feels dirty. I definitely wound't go back to this hotel and there are...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
