Stayed 4 days 3 nights. Hotel does not have air conditioning. I heard others complaining about the heat. They do provide a table fan. Luckily it was not terribly hot. We slept with the windows wide open. I atually sleep well with fresh air. Bring ear plugs because you are surrounded by pubs. The biggest warning is the shower. It...

Dear Treeves, Thank you for giving your opinion on our hotel. We are pleased that your stay was globally well. Regarding the air conditioning we had many comments on this point. We went in 3 * last spring and took the decision to install air conditioning in all rooms in few months, so the hotel will fully equipped for next...

Good location, close to Metro and the centre of Montmarte. Hotel small and had recently undergone a refurb and thankfully we had a refurbished room which was tiny and small ensuite but adequate and clean. Not much of a lobby area and breakfast was continental and basic and served in the basement in what reminded me of a staff canteen....

Dear KayemdeeDub, Thank you for taking the time to give your opinion about our hotel. We conducted several months many changes to improve the stay of our customers: Change of bedding, new room decor, improved quality of breakfast for gourmands (with eggs, bacon...), and it's not over because the hotel will soon be equipped with air conditioning and we have...

Not near anything in Paris. There were gang members right outside of our window that were loud all the way through the nights. Internet rarely worked. There were rude and very unhelpful receptionists. The vending machine didn't work, so there was no access to water. No fridge, no safe, no air conditioning, not even a fan so nights were miserable...

Small boutique hotel hidden away just north of Paris. Our stay was comfortable, rooms were very clean, although we were located just next to a quite noisy elevator. The 24 hour doorman was an attractive perk and "unwanted" visitors were not an options!!

Nice hotel in a walking distance to Sacre Coeur and Moulen Rouge. My room was very clean with very comfortable bed. Stuff at the reception were friendly and nice. Especially the lady working in the mornings. Good service in general. However, there were few things that I didn't like about the hotel: my room was extremely small (literally not enough...

Dear Aaron, Thank you for giving this nice comment about our hotel, It is true that the receptionists are listening to our customers and their experience for many years allow them to give good advice for visiting Paris. Regarding AC, know that the installation of air conditioning will begin in a few months to be fully installed by next summer....

Hotel is convenient to metro station and there's a good bakery nearby on the corner and a large grocery store up the street. Besides those three things (which had nothing to do with the hotel) our stay was very uncomfortable. There is no air conditioning but we did have a fan. Still got very hot at night because we had...

We decided to go to this hotel based on good reviews and good deal we got from our travel agent. But at the end our reservation got misplaced and we spend our first night in the ground floor room overlooking the noisy street. Next morning when things got sorted out, we have been moved to superior room on the fifth...

I stayed here earlier this month on a trip to Paris to watch football at Euro 2016. I reserved a single room - which was bright and clean. It was very small (especially the bathroom), but was fine for a short stay when you're out and about and not spending much time in the room. The bed was comfortable and...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
