We just wanted a snack lunch and ordered very simple dishes. We had to wait 40 minutes and when the food arrived two of the dishes were wrong. When these finally came another 20 minutes later, they were really not very good at all. There are some excellent small restaurants off the beaten track in Paris but this once is...

Whenever I am visiting Paris, I spend my evenings here, as I absolutely adore this place. The wine prices are very reasonable, so is the bistro food. The whole atmosphere is very cosy and on Saturday, there was even live music. Absolutely top!

Friendly staff and great food in a laidback atmosphere typical for the Montmartre area. Outside seating is available and not too crowded. Would certainly recommend this to anyone trying to get away from the masses at the Sacre Cœur for a bit and enjoy a relaxed meal at a fair price.

Nice and good food, with nice waiters and fair price. I feel it like i'm at my hometown. I hope we'll see soon again and say hello to Adam. He can draw me nest time when i won't be in rush. Place is real for inspire a spirit of Montmartre

Stopped for a quick glass of wine on the way up to Sacre Cour. The wine was cheap during happy hour, but fantastic. About a third of the price of a glass of wine in the tourist traps at the top of the hill. Stopped for cheese on the way back down the hill, and it was probably one of...

During our trip to Paris, we went here twice, first for having drinks, as they sell good wines for reasonable prices, whether it is a bottle or a glass you are after. They also sell a good Calvados, which was much needed after having eaten a rather bad meal at place du tertre, most importantly for a suitable price, unlike...

We loved our dinner at this lovely little restaurant. Prices were reasonable and the ambience unpretentious and cozy. Apparently there is live music on some evenings. This place was frequented by many locals which must be a good sign. Our meal was tasty and fresh. We also loved the location as it was perfect for a nice little evening walk...

Having rented an apartment on Rue Gabrielle before and had lunch here I thought it would be a good idea to get away from it all and have our lunch here. We were served by a very nice lady and the food did not take too long to arrive. It was all hot and tasted very nice. My husband and...

Had lunch here after visiting Sacre-Coeur. Great croque madame, I mean really delicious. The wait staff were funny and enthusiastic. This is a terrific place to end your afternoon while visiting Montmantre.

We were regular visitors during time we lived next door. Super bar, super staff, super clientelle. Very friendly welcoming local spot & near all Montmartre has to offer. Not a hotel though! Great happy hour also, just the best!

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
