After reading these reviews we were unsure what to expect, as although there were a mix of reviews the 'bad' ones seemed quite dated. Check in was at 2, but due to our eurostar we arrived just after 11. They took a photocopy of our passports, and asked us to fill in a form of personal information EG address and...

We arrived late at the hotel but there was no problem. The guy at the reception was very friendly and helpfull, the room was cleaned every day and the bed was very comfortable. The metro station Gare de l' Est is about 100m from the hotel and the metro stop is 20m away. You'll find plenty of places to eat...

We bought our stay here last minute as a package with our Eurostar tickets which meant the hotel only cost us around £10 each per night. For this price, you can't complain. The hotel was clean, and warm, staff were friendly, shower was great and sheets and towels changed daily. Great location right by several metro lines though we struggled...

No hot water, no TV remote, fire alarm at 3am, some power sockets don't work, not allowed to take the room keys outside. Tiny claustrophobic elevator. Also no information about wifi on any of the brochures or in the rooms. Otherwise, good location, rooms are spacious, everything looked clean.

Considering all the facilities & services this hotel is at medium category. Quite well cleaned room, but poor internet access with moderate level of breakfast facility. Language barrier at the reception.

The hotel is in a good location, outside bus stations and the metro. The hotel is on the Boulevard De Strasbourg (be careful walking around at night) which leads you straight down to Notre Dame. Staff are very friendly/helpful apart from one of the cleaners who was very rude and didn't take well to us arriving while she was cleaning...

This hotel is in a brilliant location if arriving or departing Paris by train. It is extremely close to the east and north stations which provide great metro access across the city and links to the airport. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I found my room to be nice and quiet. The great price is a real bonus....

We checked in for 3 nights, and the whole experience, for the first time in Paris, was very good. The hotel is very close to the metro station. The room was very clean, old furniture still we enjoyed our stay.

The quad room was perfect for a few of us to stay for a quick visit to Paris. Very convenient to both the North & East train stations. The room was clean and comfortable with windows that opened for plenty of cool evening breezes. We lucked out in finding an Internet sale for the quad room & did not regret...
