Rating considers that this is a 2 star hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. It was small but not as small as a Hotel Ibis we stayed one night at the last time in Paris. We had no problem with room noise that other reviewers commented on (were we making the noise?) - and street noise was non-existent with the...

I hope it's ok to post a review before we stay at this hotel because their customer service is THE BEST! I booked our reservation several months ago and I wanted to reconfirm everything before we leave in a few weeks. After sending a couple of emails over two weeks and hearing nothing back, I decided to fill out the...

This was my second stay at the Grand. My first stay was back in December 2007. I chose the Grand the first time around based heavily on TripAdvisor reviews, needless to say that I was not disappointed with my decision, hence my return in April 2009, This time I was accompanied by four friends, we booked one twin room and...

It is a small but cozy hotel in the centre of Paris (near the Republic square). The location is well connected with other parts of Paris! It seemed to me that it had recently been redecorated since the rooms were all filled with new furniture. They may be small, but very comfortable! The baths were also very clean! There was...

The hotel was easy to get to from the metro station. The room was clean and had everything we could need -- obviously not five stars but who stays in the room all day? The room overlooked the city with beautiful windows. Staff were very accommodating, especially the woman who runs the hotel. She was friendly and helpful at a...

Great place to stay has the commodities needed to rest after a long day visiting Paris. Internet, clean and confortable beds and complete bathroom for each room. The staff was very helpfull...

I have stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights in March 2009. Booked a twin room through their website (just send them an email and they will respond very quickly). Somehow my reservation wasn't in their system when I checked in, but the guy at the front desk took care of the problem and we ended up in...

We booked the Grand Hotel over HotelClub and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived, as we had heard that much of the budget accommodation in Paris was very poor. The hotel was only a 5 or 10 minute walk from Republique metro station which was perfect, and there were many surrounding restaurants and cafes. It was a great location to...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Grand Hotel De L'Avenue for 3 nights in Nov 2008, got the room at a very good cheap rate & I read some reviews beforehand, they seemed good so I went with it. Very glad I did, it was just perfect for what we needed. Its located in a good area, just out...
