The hotel was very well located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a nice stay and I can only say good things. Great price and great location. It is a comfortable place with a cozy atmosphere. Walking distance to subway, places to eat and see. No complaints here. Richard Deryckere Norwegian Air Shuttle Network Planning

My greatest problem is my expectation of a 3* by most standards (even on hotels in London). Bellevue is not. It does not even have a small lobby. Room is very very small (even compared to budget Ibis hotel). Bathroom is quite pathetic, soap provided is not even enough for 2 showers. You can see the white towels are not...

1) “My greatest problem is my expectation of a 3* ……. Room is very very small (even compared to budget Ibis hotel)…..” Not true. The hotel is a true 3* hotel. It was renovated in September 2003 and was awarded the 3* status by the City of Paris after an extensive review by a City Review Board made up of...

We stayed at Bellevue Hotel this past July, and found it to be a great choice. The hotel is in a great location, close to several Metro stations, the Gare du Nord Eurostar station, the Sacre Coeur, and stores, cafes, etc. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to give great directions and suggestions. The hotel also offered...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and found all the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was above average for the price we paid and was very clean. Great location as the metro is only about 250 yards away and you are only a 5 minute walk from Sacre Cour, be sure to walk around the...

I can not understand the negative reviews of this friendly, clean, comfortable, and wonderfully located oasis. I suppose you get out what you put in. Some people think they're too good for everywhere! I hope someday Claude that you can expand to a bar or even a restaurant on your premises, but until then we will return to enjoy your...

Positives - Quiet, good location for Montmartre, friendly reception staff. Negatives - Dirty room (found half empty pringles tube under the bed amongst other things, bedspread with stains), tatty decor (paint missing from bottom of door), leaky shower, tv remote control battery was flat. The main photo at the top of this review page isn't the same hotel; the photos...

Below is the Management’s answer : “Quiet, good location for Montmartre, friendly reception staff”: We agree with those positive comments about our hotel. “Dirty...”: Not true. We are using a cleaning company, which is also used by the Accor hotel chain, the largest hotel chain in France and one of the largest in the world: therefore, our rooms are impeccably...

I booked this hotel after reading the largely positive reviews on this site, however after staying one night there I felt I had to write my own experience. The bedroom was small, but most city hotels are like that so it was not a huge problem. My main concern was that I fail to see how it could be graded...

A great location in Montmatre, two minutes walk from the magnificent Sacre Coeur. Nice spotless rooms and a manager and staff that couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I'd recommend the Bellevue Hotel to anyone.

We stayed at the Bellevue Hotel for 6 nights, using it as a base to explore Paris. We could not have made a better choice! It's location is ideal - a 2-3 minute easy walk from Anvers Metro Station, and about 50-100m from the Sacre Coeur and the delights of the Place de Tertre (Artist's Square) and Montmartre itself. Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
