Very helpful people on Reception. Room quite small but comfortable and clean and good value for money. Convenient location for Gare du Nord and Gare de L'Est and good places to eat. Metro station very close to enable us to get quickly to Gare du Lyon to pick up TGV to Spain. It took about twenty minutes to walk to...

We stayed here for 4 nights with friends in October. It was our first time to Paris, and we were all looking forward to the trip. The rooms we were allocated were on the 2nd & 4th floors. The 4th floor room was slightly larger, but still compact. Very clean, with fresh towels daily. The reception staff were very friendly...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here from the 14th September - 17th September 2012 and had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and always keen to help- we found that the little luggage room was a life saver! They offered to keep our bags in there for as long as we needed, free of charge, which was extremely...

The location is convenient between two metro stations Our room (deluxe twin) was very clean, beds were comfortable, yet a bit small. Staff very nice and friendly, especially the afternoon/night manager Although we stayed on the fifth floor, we could hear some street noise and also some noise from next room. A pleasant hotel for a short break away vacation...

Small hotel but comfortable and clean. Close to metro. Good breakfast, staff was very helpful, our airline lost our luggage and the receptionist kept calling the airport and helped us find it. The luggage arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night and the receptionist kept it safe for us till we went down to the following morning....

As a family, the four of us very much enjoyed our four days in Paris. The hotel was well maintained and nicely decorated and the breakfasts were good. The staff were very helpful and friendly - especially the very nice gentleman on reception every evening, who showed great patience and grace with our imperfect French, which he tried to help...

Modern restrained decor, decent breakfast, comfortable and clean room, nice location, very helpful staff. Perhaps a bit expensive, but absolutely not a rip off. There is a neighbourhood supermarket with a good wine selection just down the street and there is a brilliant photographic bookshop close by at 29 Rue des Récollets.

Neighbourhood Profile
Canal Saint-Martin
The tree-lined Canal Saint-Martin is the focal point of one of the most romantic and hip areas of Paris. Watch boats travel along the canal while lovers and friends take in the atmosphere from the banks or the bridges. Evenings see hoards fill the embankments to drink wine and enjoy good company. The colder days lead people to hipster bars, cozy restaurants, and concert spaces. Those who are more adventurous may explore hidden gems down nearby streets, from local bars to futuristic architecture.
