We were upgraded on arrival which was very nice, our spacious room had a lovely en-suite and a separate toilet, we were on 4th floor overlooking the busy main road, the triple glazing worked so well it completely shut out any noise.Nice buffet breakfast. This hotel is in a perfect location...

Only 75 yards from Vavin metro station, a lovely warm and comfortable hotel only a few stops from all the main attractions. Modern rooms, lift and a good buffet breakfast!! Just round the corner is a street full of bars and restaurants offering good value fixed priced menus. Great place to stay!

We stayed here six nights. The breakfast was typical - cold cuts, boiled eggs, mixed fruit, croissants. The espresso machine was a nice touch. The staff was friendly, spoke pretty good English, and was helpful. Our room was small, and outdated, and the "queen" bed was no more than a full. The bathroom was nice. We were less than 2...

Im just about to leave for another exciting day with the girlfriend and we are just planning where we are going first in the room and all i can hear is a makita impact drill chasing out the walls in next doors hotel, which is being renovated. Not the best really and with the view of the building site from...

Easy walking distance to most of Paris - providing you're fit and fired up. The staff were very attentive. The free coffee was always welcome. Great restaurants are all around with everything from top notch to a tight budget.

We visited this hotel for three nights for a city break. The hotel is in a good location for several nice restaurants and bars and within easy reach of two metro stations, which will take you to all the major tourist attaractions. This is a typical city centre hotel, small & clean, but not luxury. Having said that, they are...

Spent three nights here on a Valentine's Day break organised through Avios. We were extremely impressed. The hotel obviously has been renovated recently and was very clean and comfortable. Free Wi Fi. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is some building work going on next door but we were never disturbed by any noise. Location is great. Just...

We booked this through Air Transat Vacations and found it to be a great value. It was in the Montparnasse area so it is surrounded by restaurants. It's in a great location, we walked from the hotel to almost all the Paris sites we wanted to see. When we returned after a long day of walking & sight seeing, we...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
