I stayed 4 or 5 days at Mije. Bed and linen quality should be increased. I'm not very satisfied with this. The number of sockets in room was insufficient. But the staff were friendly and kind. Thank you to all of them.

The night staff was so rude. He would shush us each night even though it was 10-11pm. He would even tell us to be quiet from sneezing too loud (im not kidding) it was really irritating considering this place was a ghost town to begin with. Theres nothing to offer here whatsoever except a clean room and semi ok location.

While the location was great, we were initially given the wrong address of the hostel since they have multiple locations. We had to walk to other location which wasn't a big deal, but it would have been nice if they had made the address clear from the beginning. Additionally, the wifi does not reach the rooms so if you are...

The location was absolutely perfect and surrounding areas. Walking distance to many of Paris's famous spots including the Louvre and Notre Dame. Just a short stroll to the Marais and a hop skip and a jump to sit by the Seine and soak in the atmosphere.

We were travelling with a school tour from Australia, and spent a week here. Great hostel, with super friendly staff, and the dinner they served at their sister property was decent. Common room was a little small - most noticeable at breakfast when at least two school groups attempted to dine simultaneously - and I believe no rooms with private...

In a brilliant part of Paris strolling distance to many cool things. Reception helpful and courteous. However rooms are small and 5 euro for a towel the size of a tea towel is a bit rich. I asked for another pillow and it was not available. You get what you pay for here but typical of Paris accom at the...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
