Hotel under renovation. We had a small room, with basically a bed, a sink and a TV. Shared bathroom was already renewed, but the douche was very small. We didn't take breakfast because you can get breakfast in very cosy bars in the neighborhood of the hotel for a similar price. Overall good budget hotel.

When I first saw the price of the room I thought it was too good to be true and was expecting to show up at some sort of a run down building but it was the complete and utter opposite! The room itself was basic, which was exactly what we wanted. We weren't expecting the Ritz! The only negative thing...

The Bonsejour is located 5-10 minutes walk from Sacre Couer depending on how well you walk up the lovely cobbled hill. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby to suit every taste and price range. We stayed in a double room on the first floor which was very well appointed. I thought the noise from the bar over the road...

We stayed there only for one night, but would like to come back next time in Paris to feel again that charme of Montmartre around, to our room under the roof, to the nice owners. The hotel was totally renovated recently. And there IS an elevator. We liked: - our nice totally renovated room #53 on the last 5th floor...

Thank you for your comment, we enjoy the read. We are delighted that you enjoyed the hotel and the room offered during your stay. The location of the hotel is optimal indeed! We recently renovated our rooms and put a lift, we miss the corridors ... soon to be made Our rooms without balconies have sheer curtains, lack of veiling...

Although centrally located near several lovely sights, for example Moulin Rouge, the hotel itself is definitely not worth the money. Only one employee we came in contact with during our stay was polite, spoke English and overall seemed to work in an international hotel. The rest were rude and uncooperative. The rooms had primitive and very loose locks. The halls...

I stayed here when I decided last minute to spend the night in Montmarte rather than return to London as planned after embarking on a food tour that day. It is a family owned and run hotel with basic amenities but they have undergone recent renovations so the room I stayed in was clean, comfortable and well priced at €62...

Only the rain but who said Paris is still beautiful when wet? Our second stay at this fabulous hotel, remembered by the staff despite visits being ten months apart, free room upgrade, free glass of wine. Wonderful location, romantic immaculate rooms, what's not to like? The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the Plas de Crechy, many restaurants to...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
