We were welcomed with a seat & drink on arrival. The hotel was spotless & the staff were friendly. Complimentary drinks & snacks were available in a bright seating area from 1-10pm. Close to Montmatre which is packed full of lively restaurants & small shops.

We stayed at Monterosa hotel for 3 nights April 3-6. Convenient area a bit off the center however within walking distance from 2 metro stations ( st. George and Pigalle) with convenient connections to all major attractions. Located in a quiet street close to bistrots boulangeries and nice cafés. We were given room 503 on the top floor which was... Just came back last night, it was a really good stay and would be very happy to return. On arrival the shower door of our room wasn't working however they accommodated us in the Joyce hotel directly across the road and were apologetic and helpful. The staff were all very helpful and smiling. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good... More

Monmatre used to be a lovely artistic place with little local cafes. Now it's quite rough and I wouldn't recommend it. If you want to stay in the area, then this hotel is a great choice. The staff we lovely and the room large and clean with a bathtub and a decent telly. We booked directly with the hotel and... More

We stayed at the Hotel Monterosa from 18 to 20 March, 2014 (2 nights). The Hotel is close to the Pigalle station (2 and 12 lines) so the commute was quite simple. We arrived a bit earlier than the actual check-in time but were welcomed and registered immediately by the reception staff. We got a room on the 3rd floor... More

All famous spots are nearby and most of them are at walkable distance. This was favourable as we had to cover many places in stipulated time. Well decorated cozy room, free wifi, satisfactory room service, healthy breakfast and above all very welcoming staff :) :)

Hotel Monterosa is an excellent place to stay in Paris. I (46 years old) stayed there with my mother for five days. It's located in a quiet street not too far to walk to the metro station of St Georges from where whole Paris is good reach. The rooms are very clean and modern with a good atmosphere and a... More

This budget hotel has all you need for a comfy stay in Paris. We had very friendly service from all staff and our room was clean and comfy, if rather bijou. A bargain price even included a very adequate breakfast. This is not luxe but if you are on a budget you can't go wrong. And in a good area... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
